Familiarity with welding equipment and safety procedures for handling it. Practical use of welding machines from different manufacturers. Welding of joints of technological pipelines.
- Knowledge
Types of pipes and fittings of technological pipelines, types of supports used for laying pipelines. Purpose and rules for the use of metalwork tools, methods for measuring the correctness of pipe joining. Types of defects and causes of their formation during welding. Methods and types of non-destructive testing. Required regulatory and technical base.
- Skills
Reading drawings and WPSs. Preparing blanks for welding and joining pipes. Setting welding modes. Welding of joints of various diameters of pipelines in various spatial positions.
- Official employment upon successful completion of the internship program.
