A NEW WORKSHOP OF PRE-INSTALLATION PREPARATION HAS ENTERED INTO OPERATION

Excellent news from the Moscow Department of Capital Construction of PROMFINSTROY JSC. A new workshop has been launched here at the site of pre—installation preparation - this is a production line for welding blanks of technological pipelines.

The line is a completely ready—made solution for welding seams - mainly butt joints — in the manufacture of pipe assemblies with a diameter from 60 mm to 630 mm. It works with low-alloy, stainless, low-temperature steel and alloys. And the productivity of the new line is almost four times higher than manual welding: 150-300 ID of the welding seam per shift. The welding quality is also on top — when an experienced operator is working, the defect-free seam index is at least 98%.

The pre-installation preparation workshop is currently undergoing modernization in all directions: the concrete floor has been replaced with a self-leveling one; modern mounting tables have also replenished the production arsenal. The workshop workers and horizontal rotators for the assembly and welding of pipe blanks were evaluated.
