From 2012 to the present, the Orsk Department of Capital Construction of PROMFINSTROY JSC has been the general contractor for the capital construction and reconstruction facilities of PJSC Orsknefteorgsintez. The specialists of the Orsk UKS face responsible tasks — modernization of outdated and construction of new facilities in compliance with the terms of work stipulated by the contracts.
In June 2019, PROMFINSTROY completed the implementation of the project "Installation of vacuum distillation of fuel oil", started in 2018. PROMFINSTROY completed the work within the deadlines set by the customer.
The work was carried out in an extremely short time, hydraulic testing of pipelines was carried out in the winter-spring period. Large-sized machinery was involved in the work, including cranes with a lifting capacity of 120 and 220 tons. During the construction, complex projects were implemented, such as the assembly and installation of the Foster wheeler P-01 furnace or the K-01 column, consisting of eight parts with a total weight of more than 130 tons.
Orsknefteorgsintez is one of the leading oil refineries in Russia with a long history. The company is almost 90 years old since the first launch. This is the only oil refining enterprise in the region.
The capacity of the Orsk refinery is more than 6.6 million tons per year. The company consists of 4 primary oil refining units, 2 catalytic reforming units; kerosene hydrotreating unit; diesel fuel hydrotreating unit; oil production; bitumen production. A set of technological processes allows us to produce about 30 types of various products: gasoline, diesel fuel, oils, jet fuel, bitumen, fuel oil.
The volume of production of light oil products at Orsknefteorgsintez is about 1684 thousand tons. The depth of oil refining in 2018 exceeded the figure of 84%.
Reconstruction of the 22-4 stabilization unit, precise rectification and amine purification of gasoline. The purpose of the reconstruction was to change the technological scheme to obtain a new target fraction of 70-1050C — raw materials for the isomerization plant under construction. In addition, improving the quality and increasing the selection of the 105-1780C fraction — raw materials of catalytic reforming plants. The new design fully complies with the current rules of occupational safety and environmental protection.
In 2014, the plant started construction of a visbreaking plant with the completion of work in 2015. The goal is to reduce the production of fuel oil, increase the production of vacuum gas oil (release of straight—run vacuum gas oil for subsequent processing at a hydrocracking plant), and generate additional volumes of gasoline. The modern installation fully meets the requirements of OT and TB, as well as environmental protection.
The largest construction project in the entire history of PJSC Orsknefteorgsintez. The commissioning of the plant allowed the Orsk Refinery to produce gasoline with ultra-low sulfur content, aviation kerosene and diesel fuel of ecological class 5. The construction of the complex was started by PROMFINSTROY JSC in 2015. After 33 months, hydrocracking was brought to its design capacity. During the peak period of construction, the number of construction and installation personnel at the site reached up to 2 thousand people.
In 2018, the largest equipment of the hydrocracking complex was installed — the steam reforming furnace P-101. About 200 machines were used to deliver the P-101 to the plant. A catalytic reactor with a diameter of 3.6 m and a length of 19 m is installed at the sulfur production plant. It was installed on the foundation with the help of two construction cranes with a lifting capacity of 220 and 170 tons. The length of the main line of the longest pipeline at the plant, which connected the sulfur production plant and the granulation unit, is 2.5 km.
In 2015, the construction of the isomerization complex was completed. This is a major project launched in 2012, worth more than 8 billion rubles. The launch of the isomerization plant was designed to ensure the production of isomerizate, which is a necessary component for the production of environmentally friendly Euro-4 and Euro-5 gasoline in accordance with the technical regulations.
The construction of the hydrogen compression unit was carried out as part of a general project for the construction of a hydrocracking unit. The installation of a modern hydrogen production section was necessary for the modernization of the enterprise — that is, to increase the design loading of the refinery and to reach new frontiers in the production of petroleum products of great depth of processing.
