TANKS

PROMFINSTROY pays special attention to the construction and repair of oil storage tanks, and in this area the company has accumulated a huge practical experience that cannot be overestimated.

In 2016, PROMFINSTROY completed a project for the construction and installation of new RVS-10000 tanks for the Ryazan Oil Refining Company. The Ryazan reservoir complex included 12 belts with a total height of 18 m. In addition, measuring instruments and equipment, internal and external engineering communications were installed. The final stage — hydraulic tests were carried out, painting and insulation works were carried out. The commissioning of new tanks allowed RNPC to significantly expand the storage volumes of fuel oil and vacuum gas oil and reach a new level of production capacity.

Already in the following year, JSC RNPC started the spring overhaul of technological installations of the main workshops. As part of this project, PROMFINSTROY took part in the overhaul of the tanks of the main Ryazan workshop.

Carrying out constant monitoring of already completed projects on the tank component of oil refineries, PROMFINSTROY JSC started in 2019 the construction of new tanks for RNPC. Facilities with a volume of 3000 m3 were planned for crude oil— nonconditioning. Having distributed the annual work in accordance with the weather conditions, PROMFINSTROY has already installed the frames of two tanks, the roof and finished the installation of communications by the end of the year. The project was successfully completed within the agreed deadlines, according to some points — ahead of schedule.

Today, the annual scheduled preventive maintenance of tanks is an indispensable part of the everyday life of PROMFINSTROY JSC. In 2022, the company successfully continued its work on reservoirs — these were planned preventive works at Gazpromneft-MNPZ JSC.

If we consider this process in detail, then it consists of:

• installation of flanged plugs on pipelines;
• opening the tank;
• stripping with angle grinders of metal surfaces of the tank for revision;
• repair of structural elements of the tank according to the results of the audit;
• quality control of the welded joints of the paintwork and the bottom of the tank with the help of vacuuming;
• ultrasonic inspection of seams;
• overpressure checks of the joints between the reinforcing sheet of the pipe and the wall;
• repair of pipelines;
• repair of metal structures, tank platforms and other pre-commissioning works.
